FUNCTIONS

• Performs general minor maintenance duties in maintaining all properties of The Price Automotive Group for purpose of keeping outstanding appearance and functionality of facilities. Safety issues and customer facing area repairs are of paramount importance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Performs a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities (e.g. carpentry, painting, electrical, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects within established time frames.
• Prepare, manage, and complete seasonal and scheduled routine maintenance at all facilities including but not limited to washing display windows, power washing signs, touch up painting and the other elements.
• Uses hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks.
• Performs basic landscaping duties including mowing, mulching, weed maintenance, etc.
• Clears snow from entrances and walkways.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures.
• Maintains assigned vehicle, tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating condition.
• Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.
• Reports work accomplished to supervisor and through ticketing system.
• Provides assistance to officials, staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary.
• Participates in meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.

Performance standards for this position are met when:

• Maintenance tickets are responded to in a timely and efficient manner and appropriate satisfaction levels are achieved

QUALIFICATIONS

• The skills and knowledge required would generally be obtained with previous experience in building maintenance work.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.
• Ability to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.
• Ability to acquire job skills with three months of on-the-job training.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 25 to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
